The Blair High School baseball team concluded its regular season schedule Monday with a rematch against Lincoln Northwest.
The 5-15 Falcons beat the 9-11 Bears on April 9, but they couldn't do it again. Coach John Roan's team won round No. 2 on the road, 9-6.
Future Nebraska Cornhusker J'Shawn Unger led the way, finishing 2-for-2 at the plate and belting a 3-run homer. Dylan Swanson plated two BHS runs, too, while Nate Wachter, Brady Brown and Nelson Kosch added one RBI apiece.
Four Bears pitched including Wachter, who earned the win after three innings and two strikeouts. Lucas Matjeka, Brady Brown and Colton Flynn pitched the four innings, combining for two Ks, too.
Blair was set to begin Class B-6 District play Thursday against Seward on Pruess Field in Bennington. With a win, it'd play in the title game today against the host Badgers or Platte Valley.
