The Blair girls and boys soccer teams competed in NSAA Subdistrict competition Tuesday with the girls earning a 4-1 home win.
The Bears (11-4 overall) topped Omaha Roncalli during the Class B-3 semifinals, advancing onto 7 p.m. Wednesday’s final at Bennington (11-4).
The BHS boys (8-8), meanwhile, lost their B-4 Subdistrict final at South Sioux City (15-2), 4-1, after a weather delay. They’ll now hope for an outside shot at a district final opportunity once wild card points are fully tallied.
Sakuto Yamada scored the Bears’ goal in defeat, while Brynn Ray (two goals), Claire Anderson and Laynie Brown scored for the Blair girls’ team.
