AHS drops home match to No. 5 Bergan

Eagles volleyball is 3-5 this season

Class C2 No. 5 Fremont Bergan earned a road win in Arlington on Tuesday night.
The host Eagles fell 3-0, losing sets 25-13, 25-19 and 25-13. They dropped to 3-5 overall, while the Knights improved to 7-1.
All five AHS losses have come to teams with even or winning records as of Wednesday. Its two most-recent defeats are to a pair of ranked opponents with a combined record of 11-1.
Coach Erin Stosich's Eagles next compete Tuesday at Shelby-Rising City. The varsity match starts at 7 p.m. after the reserve game at 5 and the junior varsity matchup at 6.
