As day broke on Friday morning, OPPD was reporting that nearly 7,000 customers in Washington County remained without power.
But the daylight was more than enough to show signs of the damage from the overnight storm.
These photos from Blair show tree damage at First United Methodist Church, houses on 17th Street, and a downed tree that was blocking the entrance to the Blair City Hall 16th Street parking lot.
Around 7 a.m., drivers on Washington Street were treating intersections as four-way stops.
In an email to the Enterprise, the Washington County Courthouse announced it will be closed Friday due to a power outage.
