Majors All-Stars fall to Hastings in elimination game

Blair Little League's winningest postseason run in more than a decade ended Friday in Kearney.
The Majors All-Stars lost a 10-0 elimination game to Hastings Little League, closing out its Nebraska state tournament run with a 1-2 record. The All-Stars won three-straight games during the Northern Area Tournament at home to qualify.
“Tough loss tonight for Blair Majors, but we couldn't be prouder of your incredible journey,” a Blair Little League social media post read. “Congratulations on securing the fourth-place spot! Your hard work and dedication inspire us all. Keep pushing forward! Most postseason victories for Majors since 2009.”
Hastings scored six third-inning runs to pull away from Blair on Friday, ending its season by 10 runs in total. The All-Stars had extended their state run to the second weekend of play with a win against Memorial Little League on July 14.
The Majors team's roster is as follows: Calan Herber, Drew Greenwood, Aiden Flynn, Triston Dein, Derrick Parker, Colin Busboom, Finn Johnson, Blayton Anderson, Bradyn Swistak, Owen Swaney, John Paul Pakiz and Ethan Casarotto.
The coaches are Ryan Greenwood, Bubba Ratfield and Nick Swaney.
