Richard C. Sutherland, 87, of Sioux Falls S.D., died September 18, 2024.
Richard is survived by his wife, Marlene Sutherland; five children, Kathy (Randy) Throop of Grand Island, NE; Teresa (Martin) Nore of Columbus, NE; Calvin Sutherland of Kearney, NE; Wesley Sutherland of Omaha, NE; and Russell (Andrea) Sutherland of St. Paul, NE. Also, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma Sutherland; and three brothers, John Jr., Cliff and Darr.
Services will be at First Lutheran Church in Blair, NE, on November 2nd at 11 a.m. A wake and celebration of life will follow at the Legion Club in Blair, starting at 1 p.m.
Sutherland was born on August 11, 1937, in Blair, NE. He passed away on September 18, 2024, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
