Eric Richard Wulf, age 42 of Omaha, passed away May 29, 2024, at Methodist Hospital after a courageous battle with melanoma. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, at 10:30 AM at First Lutheran Church in Blair, followed by graveside services at the Blair Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 6, from 5-8 PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.
Eric was born April 17, 1982, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Eldon and Rebecca Janak Wulf. Eric graduated from Blair High School in 2000. He studied business at Hastings College, graduating in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree. Most recently, Eric worked as a sales specialist for Groundworks.
On March 7, 2009, he married Michelle Bishoff. They welcomed their beautiful daughter Bailey on March 17, 2014.
Eric was vibrant! He loved playing basketball in high school and college. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, and exploring. He loved music and grilling. His sense of humor and infectious laugh always made people happy. He was a family man, and so proud of Bailey. Eric was always easy to spot in a crowd with his red hair and beautiful smile. He loved his friends—they meant the world to him. We love and miss you, Eric.
Eric is survived by his wife Michelle and daughter Bailey; parents Eldon and Rebecca; father and mother-in-law John and Theresa Bishoff; siblings: Christian (Michelle) Wulf, and Mark (Katrina) Wulf; sister-in-law Carrie (Dean) Cole; nieces and nephews:Carson, Hudson, Noelle, Samuel, Maxwell, Macie, Marley, Noah, and Zachary; along with extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lester and Dorthy Wulf and Richard and Anne Janak; step-grandmother Leona Janak.
