Karen Grace Adams, age 83, passed away September 11, 2024, at The Banyon at Montclair in Omaha. Graveside services will be held at the Blair Cemetery at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
Karen was born April 20, 1941, in Modale, Iowa, the daughter of Charley and Shirley Adams. She graduated from Herman High School in 1958 and then started her career at Mutual of Omaha. Karen started her medical career at Creighton University in September of 1991 as a clinical research assistant, working with solid tumor patients. In 1999 she accepted a position with the University of Nebraska Medical Center as a health data coordinator, assisting stem-cell transplant physicians with patient data management.
Karen enjoyed watching classic movies and playing cards and bingo with friends.
She is survived by her brother Mark (Mary Beth) Adams, sister Ronda Reidler, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, along with extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Steve Adams.
